SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

ELIZABETH DITTON

Official role at CRI: Wellness Interventions.

What does that mean you do? As an experienced Clinical Psychologist, I provide consultation regarding the psychological aspects relevant to the various research projects being conducted at CRI. This has included provision of advice regarding which psychological factors are most likely to affect people’s recovery in rehab, and the development of wellbeing programs.

What is your favourite part of your work? Applying years of clinical experience and knowledge to interesting and innovative research projects that have the potential to have a positive impact on people’s lives at a broad level.

How do you look after your own health and wellbeing? My favourite activities are reading, walking in nature (especially around Newcastle’s beautiful beaches), leisurely bike rides, and baking.

CRI is a Proud Partnership between the University of Newcastle, HMRI and NSW Health.
